After a year of theatre work at the Zurich Schauspielhaus, Judit Abegg studied "Contemporary Dance" at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany. She worked as a dancer, choreographer and director in freelanced productions and at various theaters in the Ruhr area, Hamburg and Switzerland. Her production “Bobo and Susu - an interactive concert with acting and dance for children” was awarded the Folkwang Prize for interdisciplinary projects. From 2009-2012 she was an artistic assistant of Gudrun Lange in four dance pieces for youngsters. 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016 she realized four evening-length dance productions for various age groups.
